Transfer Certificate Guidlines
In order for us to comply with the Ministry of Education, Bahrain regulations, and for us to register your child with MOE, it is imperative that we receive a Transfer Certificate from your child’s previous school when joining after May. Students joining KG 1, KG 2 or Grade 1 at the start of the Academic year (April) do not require a Transfer Certificate.
- This Transfer Certificate must be on official school letterhead.
- The form needs to be completed on pupil’s last day of attendance.
- This form must be signed by the Principal and show an official school stamp.
- The original certificate must be presented on the first day of school.
The Transfer Certificate validity is only for one month. Hence, the child should be enrolled in school within a month of the date of issue of the Transfer Certificate

TRANSFER CERTIFICATE POLICY FOR WITHDRAWAL
- All parents withdrawing their wards after the completion of academic year should submit filled application form obtained from the office, duly signed by Principal before close of academic year.
- It will take 7 working days to process the request for issuing of transfer certificate.
- Transfer certificate issued at any other time than completion of academic year will only state “continuing” in the same grade.
- Students withdrawing during the academic year are required to pay full term fee.
- Transfer certificate will be issued after all dues of the school are settled.
- The policy is subject to change as per the decision of board of directors and intimation by Ministry ofEducation.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE SCHOOL
- CPR Copy of the student(both sides)
- Latest report card copy (it should be clear, the school must make sure that it is not tampered with, and that it’s stamped and signed)
- NOC from the school
- TC Copy (Transfer certificate) from the previous school
- Note: The envelope should include a cover letter with the list of names inside the envelope and the classes they have been accepted in.
2) For students coming from abroad (separate envelope clearly labeled):
Step 1 (in order to get the letter of request for attestation in the MOE):
- CPR Copy or Passport Copy
- NOC from your school
Note: The envelope should include a cover letter with the list of names inside the envelope and the classes they have been accepted in, plus the country from which the latest report card was issued/ the student last studied in.
3) The school has to collect the request letter from the Private Education Directorate when ready and give it to the parents. The parent has to take it to the Examination Directorate in the main building of the MOE in Isa Town along with the necessary documents from the country they came from for attestation.
Note: We will return the NOC back to the school at this stage.
Step 2 (for final approval):
- The letter of attestation/ equivalency from the Examination Directorate of the MOE (the parent should provide it to the school once collected).
- CPR Copy or Passport Copy (in case the student has not been issued a CPR yet)
