Chairman
A self-motivated, dynamic, confident person and a man who distinguishes himself by ‘thinking outside the boundaries’, N. K. Ramachandran Menon is the Chairman of Bhavans Kendras and Schools in Kuwait, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Oman.
Having played various roles as a thought leader, a keen analyst, a thorough administrator, Mr. Ramachandran Menon is spearheading Bhavan’s Middle East expansion in Education and ICT. As a man of principles and values, Mr. Ramachandran Menon shows exemplary enthusiasm to be innovative in providing value based quality education. His visions, ideals, and experience are the real prime movers of IES and other Bhavans Kendras in Middle East.

Mr. Sooraj Ramachandran is spearheading the group’s Middle East expansion and initiatives of the group, especially initiatives to launch pre schools which will function as feeder schools to all the Bhavans schools in the Middle East in the future as well as initiatives to start programmes for student training for distance and higher education, professional courses and special education. Programmes for teacher training are also part of future plans.
A Chartered Accountant by profession with his practice based out of India, Mr. Sooraj did his initial six years of schooling in Indian School Kuwait and the later six years in Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Elamakara in Cochin, Kerala. Mr. Sooraj, who is an avid reader and a sports enthusiast, has represented his school and college teams in Cricket, Football and various Track and Field events. Presently, Mr. Sooraj stays in Abu Dhabi with his wife, Dr. Vineetha and two children.
Ms. Divya Rajesh Ramachandran
Ms. Divya Rajesh Ramachandran is a Chartered Accountant by profession with 15+ years of qualified experience. She is a senior partner in a well-established firm based in Cochin with Branches in Kollam, Trivandrum, Bangalore, and Chennai. She did her schooling in Indian School Kuwait till the VIIIth Standard and then moved on to Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Elamakkkara, Cochin for the Secondary and Senior Secondary schooling.
She is married to Rajesh Ramachandran who is also a practicing chartered accountant and the founder partner of the firm she practices in. They have 3 children, one pursuing graduation in Pune and the other two studying in Al Ain. She is an avid reader and music enthusiast and pursues dance, photography, and writing when time permits.
CA Himanshu Verma
Mr. Himanshu Verma is professionally qualified Indian Chartered Accountant with over 35 years’ experience. He is result-oriented and effective leader, with ability to successfully manage the organisations by assessing risk, proactively identify and resolve problems, and lead development. He started his career with the Audit firm “Price Waterhouse” in Delhi and then came to Bahrain in 1991 and joined another Audit firm Ernst & Young. He worked in a renowned multi-national Bank on the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) for 28 years.
He has a passion towards Education and has been the Co-founder of Bahrain Indian School. He had been taking professional developments training sessions in Bank for Risk, Operations, Finance and Compliance. He is Qualified associate of Association of Anti Money Laundering Specialist, Miami, USA,(ACAMS). Mr. Himanshu Verma is an inspiring leader and a motivator.
Ms. Ritu Verma
Mrs. Ritu Verma holds a first class master’s degree in Genetics from the Haryana Agricultural University (HAU). She was a scholarship holder for the complete Masters programme. Besides being a topper all throughout, Music has always been one of her greatest passions, and she is equally talented in painting.
She is a sports enthusiast and was the school champion in Badminton. After her marriage she worked as a team coordinator and Executive Manager in H.N.Verma & Associates, a professional firm in Delhi, for 5 years, where she gained pronounced skills and experience and a sense of teamwork, planning and organisation. She came to Bahrain in 1991 with her husband, Himanshu Verma, who is a Chartered Accountant by profession.
Since her arrival in Bahrain, she has been an active participant in community services with many groups, which portrays her compassionate and caring nature. She had been helping students academically in British Curriculum as well as Indian Curriculum. She has magnificently groomed her 2 children; the elder one pursuing pre-medical studies at the University of Toronto, Canada and the younger one is a secondary student in an esteemed school in Bahrain.
Mr. Saji Jacob
Mr. Saji Jacob has 18 years of teaching and administrative experience in various reputed Convent and Public Schools. He started his teaching career from Sacred Heart Convent School in district Ludhiana, Punjab.
A diligent & dynamic professional, he steered his way up the ladder to manage key positions in every school, he worked for.
He became the Principal of one of the most reputed schools in Punjab Sacred Heart Sr. Sec. School at a very young age. Thereafter he joined as the principal of a prestigious school in Chandigarh run by the Orthodox fathers, St Mary’s School. In 2014 Delhi Public School Society appointed him as the principal for one of its new branches in Haryana near New Delhi, India.
Saji Jacob was selected by CBSE as the master trainer for monitoring and mentoring of various schools affiliated to it in Chandigarh region. He has been conducting orientation programs for teachers in various schools of Punjab and Haryana.
Saji Jacob’s interests revolves around management and teaching. He has completed Masters in English, Masters in Hindi with Linguistics and M. Ed & M.Phil.
His passion for teaching English has made him an ELT expert. He has completed his Post Graduate Certificate in the Teaching of English (PGCTE) & Post Graduate Diploma in the Teaching of English (PGDTE) from The English and the Foreign Languages University, formerly known as CIEFL, Hyderabad and T.K.T (Teaching Knowledge Test) from Cambridge University, U.K.
He is an adventurer at heart and his other interests includes sports, music & drama.
