About Bhavan

Bhavans Middle East – an education venture associated with Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mumbai – started in Kuwait in the year 2000 with an aim to support the Indian community in GCC states for the educational needs of children of Indian origin.

In the year 2006 the first school of Bhavans Middle East – Indian Education School opened its doors to the children. 4 September 2006  was thus a historic day for Bhavans Middle East.

In the next couple of years the schools of Bhavans Middle East established itself in Abu Dhabi – Bahrain – Al Ain – Ajman – and now in the heartland of UAE – Dubai.

Having started with 111 children in September 2006,  the student number swelled to 1,600 by April 2007 and has been growing ever since to touch the current number of over 12,000 across the Middle East.

The concept of a day boarding school was a breakthrough in the Indian education system in all the GCC states where Bhavans put its foot print – tested , tried and proved successful.

Bhavans Middle East – The hallmark of all schools under its aegis is quality education which is promised to all students and an undisputed repute that substantiates its standards and commitment.

Bhavans Middle East – The success of all schools under its aegis is the strength of its committed teachers and the undeniable faith and support of its parent community.
