Leaders are not born but are made by their experiences in life. The Investiture Ceremony of Bahrain Indian School for the academic session 2017-2018 was held with great pomp and dignity. It was conducted with the high degree of sincerity and passion. The Investiture ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly invested office bearers. Ms. Ritu Verma , Director of BIS graced the function. The function was presided over by Dr. Heena Rachh (The Principal) and Dr. Preet Kamal (Coordinator). After singing the Bahrain national Anthem and remembering God, Rev Principal Dr. Heena Rachh welcomed the gathering, after which the formal ceremony began. The four houses along with their House Captains, vice – Captains dressed in their resplendent house colors marched to the beat of the drums added grandeur to the event. The newly chosen Head Boy, Head Girl, Sports Captain, Sports Vice Captain, Discipline committee members, Organizing Committee members Captains and Vice Captains of all the four houses namely Gladiators, Spartans, Warriors, and Vikings were conferred badges and sashes by Ms. Ritu Verma and Dr Heena Rachh .The Head Girl delivered her speech stating thanks for being the chosen one for the position. All the members of per factorial body and the office bearers took the pledge to serve the school and fulfill their responsibilities to the best of their abilities. The ceremony was held with lots of zeal and zest. The Student Council also promises to take the school to newer heights and resplendence. An Investiture ceremony sets the right tone for an academic year during which the young leaders not only learn to guide other students but also create models in leadership for others to emulate. Ms. Ritu Verma congratulated the children on their success for the leading roles that will be taken by them in the upcoming year. Dr Heena Rachh congratulated them and guided them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties. She reminded them position comes with responsibilities and new goals that they should follow, achieving great heights. She advised them to be role models and lead the school with integrity and commitment. The ceremony ended with the Vote of thanks by Mr Hemanth and the School anthem was sung by the BIS family. The function was anchored by Ms Augustina Ekka and was managed by Mr. Hemanth , Mr. Harish and Ms. Yashi.
